This Privacy Policy explains how TOEFLPrep ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our TOEFL preparation platform.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information — your name, email address, and login credentials.
• Payment information — billing details processed by our payment providers when you subscribe to a paid plan.
• Test and performance data — your answers, scores, study progress, and practice history.
• Audio recordings — when you use the Speaking section of the TOEFL practice test, your voice is recorded and sent to our transcription and scoring provider solely to evaluate your response and provide instant feedback. Recordings are retained only as long as needed for that purpose and are deleted when you delete your account.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and personalize your study plan and practice tests
• Score your responses and deliver feedback
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Improve and maintain the platform

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform, including Auth0 and Google (authentication), Supabase (database hosting), Backblaze (file storage for avatars and audio content), OpenAI (transcribing and scoring your Speaking section responses), and payment processors including Stripe, HesabPay, and AtomaPay. Payments made through AtomaPay are manually reviewed by our team to confirm receipt of a bank transfer. Each provider is contractually bound to protect your data and processes it only to provide their service to us.

Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 13. If we learn we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law (such as the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@toeflprep.ai.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no system can guarantee complete security.
